Grants to Build a Biodiesel
Plant
The
production of biodiesel is widely being promoted all through out
America, the U.K., and the other countries as well.
Bio-diesel is relatively easy to produce, and its main
ingredient is used or pure vegetable oil. The production
process is entirely simple, because even with minimal
research, you can very well produce bio-diesel for your own
personal use.
Large companies who would
like to try their hand in producing bio-diesel in large
quantities can apply for a grant given by different companies
who are promoting its use. Here are the companies that are
known to have released substantial funding for prospecting
biodiesel producers.
1. The Government of British
Columbia – Just last February they have released as much as
$25,000 in funds to develop the production of this highly
acclaimed alternative fuel in the country. They could be
looking for grantees again, so check them out.
2. National Clean Cities
Incorporated – commonly referred to as NCC, as this company is
commonly called, is backed up by both the Department of Energy
of the United States and United Soybean Board to help promote
the use of bio-diesel. They are mostly accommodating
distributors, operators, fleets, and other similar entities to
use bio-diesel and to convince more people to try
it.
3. N.C. Rural Center – Their
office has successfully granted an amount of $242,360 to Mount
Olive. Mount Olive is aiming to build 2 bio-diesel processing
plants and that amount is projected to be enough for that. They
have applied for the grant last January 16.
Bio-diesel grants are given
to people and companies that are of good background and have a
precise ability to produce bio-diesels. If you are an
individual or a company which is looking for a grant, you can
apply to these companies.
But before you go ahead and
apply, make sure that you are fully qualified for the grant.
Usually, only short-listed firms are contacted and are given
funding. So that you’ll be sure your application will be
attended to, here’s the check list.
1. Check out the grant’s
requirements. Every grant provider has a definite list of
qualifications. Check it out and make sure that you are okay in
each and every detail set in it. Otherwise, your application
won’t be processed at all.
2. Comply with the
requirements. Just the same, every grant provider will require
you to fill out an application form and submit pertinent
documents. You have to properly comply with these so that yours
will be easily facilitated.
3. Register with the proper
offices. Some grantors would require applicants to be listed
with a certain group or association. This is necessary for
background checks and for security purposes. Make sure that you
are a bona fide member of the groups the grantors
require.
There could be other grantors
you can go to so you can build that bio-diesel plant you are
aiming for. If you intend to get that grant, make sure that you
work hard for it. You have to show the grantors that you are
one worthy grantee.
Your background as a firm and
as a founding individual of it counts a lot. Grantors have to
be assured that the grant will be used productively. That’s the
most important thing a grantor is looking for.
Check out with your local
public office. Grantors are usually government institutions,
non-profit organization, and philanthropic foundations.
Regularly check them out and you’ll get your grant in no
time.
